About
Why PONO does both the diagnosis and the build.
Travis Wagner founded PONO after eleven years in education and edtech, and service as a United States Marine. Along the way he kept running into the same gap: consultants who stop at strategy and hand over a deck nobody acts on, and developers who start building before anyone has actually diagnosed what's broken.
PONO exists to close that gap. Every engagement starts with a real diagnosis — what's actually happening in the business, not what the org chart says should be happening — and ends with something built and working, not just recommended. Diagnose, train, strategize, implement: the same four-layer process whether the client is a family-owned shop or a ten-agency government engagement.
Owned and managed by a service-disabled veteran. Based in Naples, FL.
“Pono” is a Hawaiian word meaning balance, righteousness, or doing the right thing — a name chosen as a standard to hold the work to, not just a label for it.
